Fezzano

Fezzano is a fraction of the town of Portovenere, in the province of La Spezia. It is located in a creek in the western side of the Gulf of La Spezia, at the base of Mount Castellana. Located between the villages of Le Grazie and Cadimare, Fezzano is the first part of the municipality of Portovenere that meets sull'unica road that runs along the coastline. The fraction is one of thirteen villages marinate participating each year to Palio Gulf. As a historical and architectural significance is the parish of St. John the Baptist and the church of St. Nicholas of the seventeenth century.
