Marina di Sarzana

Sarzana is a common Ligurian rising in the south-eastern province of La Spezia. Its territory is bordered to the north with the territory of the municipality of Santo Stefano di Magra and Aulla, east with Fosdinovo, Castelnuovo Magra, Ortonovo and Carrara, south with Ameglia and is wet from the Ligurian Sea and west with Lerici and Vezzano Ligure. The territory is at the end of the valley of Magra, not far from dall'estuario of the river, in a fairly flat area, called Plains of Sarzana. The village of Sarzana extends below the hill that houses the Castle of Sarzanello.
